Valentine's Treat Bags & Copic Coloring

Is it Monday already?! I had today off so as Mondays go it was a good one! AND I finally got my first Copic markers this weekend! WooHoo! I have to collect them slowly so I'll be coloring a lot of pink and blue here in the near future but I couldn't wait to try them out.

I put together some treat bags for Valentine's Day using the Lawn Fawn Bugs & Kisses stamp set and coordinating dies.  I'm trying to use up some Valentine's paper pads I've had for awhile so I die cut some scalloped circles using some Sizzix dies and my Big Shot out of these cute patterns from my stash.  I then scored the die cuts at 1.5 inches to fold them over the tops of the treat bags.  Once I'd done that I punched a hole through the folded die cut and the bag. This way the tag can be attached using a brad and opened and closed over and over!

All the sweet little love bugs were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copics and, die cut before I adhered them to the tag and stamped the sentiment from the stamp set.  I added some Wink of Stella to the bugs and hearts and covered all the hearts with glossy accents.

I think these would be adorable with some Hershey's Kisses in them for Valentine's Day!  They'd be perfect for kids to take goodies to class or to bring a little treat for co-workers.  If you're interested in purchasing some treat bags please visit my Etsy shop.  Thank for stopping by to help welcome me to the wonderful world of Copics!  Have a fabulous night!!
